Terms of use
What you’re buying
TFBF is an app, downloaded to your computer or installed on your phone from this website, for keeping records of your own cryptocurrency trades (the coins listed on this website). The free version is limited to 25 trades in total. Pro is a one-time payment of $59 CAD plus applicable sales tax (such as GST/HST or VAT), calculated at checkout, that gives you a licence key unlocking every feature, plus free updates to future versions for as long as the product is offered.
Your licence
- One Pro licence is for one person. You can use it on any computers and phones you own.
- Your licence key is linked to your name and email, which are shown inside the app. Sharing, publishing or reselling it may get it cancelled.
- Your licence key is delivered by email, normally within one business day of payment.
Not financial or tax advice
TFBF is a record-keeping and planning tool. Nothing in the app, including signals, planners, alerts, profit figures and capital gains calculations for any country, is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Crypto prices are volatile and you can lose money. You make all trading decisions and place all orders yourself. Tax calculations follow published rules for Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia as we understand them; they may not cover your situation. Confirm your tax filing with a qualified professional.
Prices and data
Live prices come from public market data (Kraken and Coinbase; for the ETH whales screens also Binance, Bitstamp, OKX, Bybit, Hyperliquid and public Ethereum nodes) and may be delayed, unavailable or wrong. Whale activity is public market data only: it doesn’t identify who is trading, and a big trade or transfer doesn’t tell you where the price will go. Calculations depend on the trades you enter. Always check figures against your exchange before acting on them.
Your data and backups
Your data is stored only on your device, in the browser or phone app you use. Clearing browser data, deleting the app, switching browsers or losing your device can erase it. You are responsible for keeping backups with the app’s Backup button.
No warranty and limit of liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the extent allowed by law, the seller is not liable for trading losses, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.
Changes and law
These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.
Refund policy
No change-of-mind refunds. TFBF Pro is a digital product delivered by licence key. When you pay, you ask for your key to be sent right away, and once it has been sent the purchase can’t be cancelled for a change of mind. If you live in the UK or the European Union, this means you agree that the usual 14-day cancellation period for digital content ends when your key is delivered.
Please try the free version before you buy. It’s the same app, limited to 25 trades, so you can check it works for you on your computer first.
If something goes wrong with your purchase, such as being charged twice, your licence key not arriving within one business day, or a key that won’t unlock Pro, email perplexitypromter@gmail.com and it will be fixed, or the duplicate charge refunded.
This policy doesn’t limit any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live. For example, customers in Australia have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund if the app has a major problem that can’t be fixed.
Copyright and permitted use
The Fabulous Budget Factory™, including the app, the phone app, this website, its text, design, screenshots, logo and code, is © 2026 The Fabulous Budget Factory. All rights reserved.
Your licence lets you install and use TFBF for your own records on devices you own. You may not:
- copy, modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, or remove or bypass its licence checks;
- share, publish, sell, rent or give away the app, a licence key or a modified version;
- copy this website or its design, text or screenshots, or use the TFBF name or logo, for another product or website.
Breaking these terms ends your licence immediately, without a refund, and may lead to legal action and takedown requests to any host of copied material. To report a copy of TFBF, email perplexitypromter@gmail.com.
Other names and trademarks
Names of exchanges, tax agencies, news sites and other products (such as Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Wealthsimple, Shakepay, Etherscan, the CRA, IRS, HMRC and ATO) belong to their owners and are used only to describe what TFBF works with. TFBF is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.

Their copyright notices and the licence are in fonts/OFL.txt.
Privacy policy
Your trading data stays on your computer
Trades, balances, budgets, notes and settings you enter in the app are stored only in your browser. They stay on your device and are never sent to the seller or to any server. The app does not ask for exchange passwords or API keys.
What the app connects to
- Kraken and Coinbase public market data, to show live prices. No personal information is sent.
- Cloudflare (cdnjs), only when you import a PDF card statement: the PDF reader is downloaded from it, checked against a fingerprint so it can’t be swapped.
- DuckDuckGo, to show your bank’s logo next to an account (it receives the bank’s web address you entered, nothing else).
- alternative.me, for the Fear & Greed reading on the Signal Board.
- Crypto news sites (NewsBTC, Bitcoinist, CryptoPotato, AMBCrypto, ZyCrypto, Cryptopolitan, Live Bitcoin News), to show headlines for your coin. They see an ordinary page request, as when you visit them.
- ntfy.sh, only if you turn on phone alerts. The alert text you choose is sent to the topic you set up.
- Binance, Bitstamp, OKX, Bybit and Hyperliquid (plus Kraken and Coinbase) public trade, order-book and liquidation feeds, for the ETH whales screens in Pro. They connect only after you open ETH whales, or while you keep “Keep tracking on other tabs” switched on. No personal information is sent; like any website, these services can see your IP address.
- Public Ethereum nodes (PublicNode, dRPC and Flashbots), on the same terms, to read new blocks for large ETH transfers. Etherscan opens only when you click a transfer’s “view” link.
When you buy Pro
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen by the seller. The seller receives your name, email address and payment status, and uses them only to send your licence key, answer your questions and handle refunds. Your email is never sold or shared, and you won’t be added to a mailing list unless you ask to be.
This website
This site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. It records things like which pages are viewed, the country, the type of device and the website you came from. This site has no ads, tracking pixels or advertising cookies. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. The live price on the home page comes from Kraken’s public feed.
When you download the free version
We ask for your email address (and, if you like, your first name) before the download starts. With it we record which button you used, the website you came from, any share link you followed, and your time zone, so we know how people find TFBF. This is stored with Netlify, our website host. We use your email only to keep a record of downloads and, if you ticked the box, to email you about new versions, features and offers. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
When you share this page
If you use a share button, we record which platform you chose (for example “Reddit”), not who you are. Share links include a short tag such as ?ref=reddit, so we can count visits that arrive from shared links.
Questions or deletion requests
Email perplexitypromter@gmail.com to ask what information is held about you or to have it deleted, except where it must be kept for tax records.
